In my first term as Mayor of the Municipality of Pilar, I may have planted rice. In my second term, I may have planted trees. With the establishment of the PILAR COMMUNITY COLLEGE (PiCC) at the beginning of my third and last term as Local Chief Executive. I have successfully laid down one of the milestone of this administrator which shall endure for hundred years and beyond!
The PiCC which may have been beyond imagination for more than a century and a half, has now become a reality, a dream-come-true for all Pilareños to be proud of! With the soon-to-be opening of the PILAR COMMUNITY COLLEGE, a new chapter in the history of the Municipality of Pilar is being unfolded as it ushers in the advent of Pilar’s Golden Era!
Education is the backbone of the society and key to success. Climbing the summit of success is no easy task as it is like digging for gold deep beneath the rocky surface of the earth. Equipping our people especially the young with quality education is providing them the best access towards their quests for golden success.
