The Pilar Community College again marked a milestone as its Intramurals 2025 ended last March 22, 2025. The energy was electric, the competition was tough the excitement and fun were at its highest level as the 2025 Intramurals, organized by the Pilar Community College Officers and Staff and assisted by dedicated Student Leaders, took over the college. It was like a week-long festival that pulsed with sportsmanship, camaraderie, friendly rivalry, and pure joy.
Students from different block sections with their team managers, coaches and supporters came together to form their dream teams. The LGU Gym transformed into a bustling arena, with basketball games volleyball showdown, badminton and many others buzzing with activity. The OPCEN echoed with the skilled rallies of badminton matches, while outside the LGU-Gym hosted intense table tennis battles.
The Three-Day Sporting Events offered something for everyone. Whether you were a pro-player or simply looking for a fun way to connect with classmates, there was a place for you specially the Laro ng Lahi that required no skills and talents just for fun. The cheerdance competition and the Search for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025 allowed students to unleash their school spirit and talents while supporting their peers.
More importantly, PiCC Intramurals 2025 is more than the win-or-lose mentality. It was about fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, camaraderie and lasting friendships. It provided a fantastic platform to meet new people, bond over shared interests, and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle on campus. This was evident to those PiCC students who despite agonizing hardship and pain after they were devastated by fire tragedy were there cheering for their teams, competing in the sports that they joined in and celebrated team victory.
Until now, the roar of the crowd as the winning play unfolded, the Pictures of the high-fives and victorious cheers shared with teammates engrossed, the infectious energy that crackled in the air – these are the memories brought about by the PiCC Intramurals 2024. These moments will stay with students, PiCC Non-Teaching and Teaching Personnel long after the final whistle blows.
The Light of Torch may have washed-out as a symbol of the closure of Intramurals 2025, but the spirit of camaraderie and happiness it ignited will continue to thrive with the campus of PiCC and will live in our hearts as PiCCeans.
